Born and raised in Maryland, Erin embraced the love of cheerleading and dance from a very young age. After Cheering collegiately for the University of Maryland and dancing professionally for the NBA’s Washington Wizards, Erin pursued what is now her proudest accomplishment and moved on to cheer professionally for 6 years for the NFL’s Washington Redskins! 

During her tenure with the Redskins, Erin was a 5 year line captain and choreographer, and was also the director and choreographer for the youth cheerleading program.  Erin enjoyed years of performing at Fed-Ex Field, in Osaka Japan, and across the Continental US.  Many of her most memorable experiences as a Redskins cheerleader are the performances at Military bases nationwide.  Performing for our US troops and their families repeatedly proved to be an extremely rewarding and humbling experience. Erin has even had the opportunity to instruct cheerleading and dance clinics for the children of Military families on bases nationwide and truly cherishes the joyous moments shared with these children who face such difficult sacrifices and time away from parents and loved ones.

With a Marine veteran in her family, and friends with families serving overseas Erin is honored to be a part of Sweethearts for Soldiers. It is her hope that bringing entertainment and a sincere “thank you” to US Troops worldwide will bring both joy and gratitude, and a reminder of the comforts of home.
