I am from Jacksonville, Florida and spent 4 years on the sidelines cheering for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a member of 'The Roar' and was featured in the Jaguars cheerleaders' swimsuit calendar for 3 years.  I was very blessed to meet my wonderful husband, Tom, who is a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, while cheering for the Jaguars
.
We are very fortunate that there are so many men and women who are willing to risk their lives to defend our freedom.  For me, being married to a man who has served our country selflessly for over 20 years has truly inspired me.  I have seen our military 'family' within the Air Force go the extra mile to provide support to one another to endure the hardships that come along with our endeavor for peace.
 
I have already had the amazing experience of representing the Sweethearts at the Snowball Express IV in Dallas.  It was an incredible event focused around bringing happiness, friendship and support to children of our fallen military heroes..  During the two day event, we held a cheer camp, gave two performances and met hundreds of brave kids.
 
I am looking forward to many opportunities as a 2010 Sweetheart to show our military families how much we appreciate their sacrifice.
