Hello,
My name is Jennifer Myrick and I am an E-4 in the 427th Medical Logistics unit out of atlanta, GA. I was stationed in Qatar at CAS last year and had the pleasure f meeting the Sweethearts when they came to my post for a few days. I saw several of their shows (three I believe) plus was able to eat dinner with them, bowl with them, and just hang out in the evenings. These girls are great! They brought a ray of sunshine o a normally very mundane world. I ordinarily had few females to hang out with, as the vast majority of people on post were guys, and I really appreciated someone to hang out with that wanted to do hair and make-up first! These girls all have great personalities and the best part was- they were just as friendly to the women as they were the men.
As for the show itself, they do a variety show consisting of singing, dancing, tumbling, and even playing musical instruments. As I said, I watched the show several times and it never got old. They always had a huge crowd and they involved the soldiers on stage, playing games and giving out prizes. We thoroughly enjoyed having these ladies on our post and we were very sad when the time came for them to leave. I am blessed to have gotten to know them overseas. An additional thing I can say in favor of these girls is that to this day, over a year after I met them, I keep in touch with three out of five of them. That says a lot b/c they take their time in maintaining friendships. These irls really care about us, the soldiers, and it shows.
If the Sweethearts for Soldiers want to come to a military installation- LET THEM. They can do nothing but good for those who are risking their lives for this country. I am glad to know the Sweethearts.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Myrick

I received your package today!!! I was the most popular person in the office. There were a lot of people that wanted to hear how we met and why you would be sending me the package. I told them what the "Sweethearts" do for our deployed Soldiers and they all wanted me to send you a huge "Thanks". They all remember what it is like to be deployed and the fact that you all DO NOT have to go to Iraq to help keep the morale of our Soldiers up, but you do, so once again "THANKS!!"

Sincerely and respectfully,

Kevin

Great to hear from you!  Thank you and the rest of the "Sweethearts" for
giving of time, treasure & talent.  It definitely was a big morale boost
for the troops.

Again thanks for all you do in being patriotic americans.  I certainly
appreciate it, and I definitely know the troops out here do.  Give my
best to the other "Sweethearts"!

I saw your show while I was in Qatar and we talked for a bit. I checked out the website and I thought I'd
write an e-mail. I just wanted to say that I thought it was great and I was impressed to see that you and the rest
of the girls actually get involved with us troops. I wasn't really sure what to think at first, but after talking to
you, it's easy to see that you genuinely care. To be honest, it was a breath of fresh air. I always like hearing
good things from civilians. It always reminds me of why I joined.
Take care and keep in touch if you can!

I was one of the soldiers lucky enough to see you ladies in Qatar on Wednesday night at the Top Off. You, Amy, Brianne, Cheryl, and Kimberly all put on an awesome show, and I just wanted to thank you for brightening up my "leave days." With the Muslim holiday of Ramadan going on, there weren't as many activities in which to participate, but seeing you ladies made it worth the trip. You are a GREAT dancer, and I hope I get to see you and all the other ladies again sometime. Thanks for being there.

Thank you for doing what you do. I caught both shows in Qatar and it helped make my R&R time enjoyable. I was able to forget Iraq for a few short days. You are actually still on stage getting pictures with everyone after your 2nd show. It really means a lot knowing people back home still care about us. Thank you again very much.

Thank You,

Thank you for including me in your realm of friends, and thank you for what you do for our men and women of the Armed Forces once again. I was just down in Fort Bragg visiting my son Aaron for the Memorial Day weekend. He has the 'Sweethearts' picture in a frame on his desk in his room. Your visit to Iraq is greatly appreciated by him for bringing beauty to an otherwise ugly environment.

Thank You so much for taking the time to send the pictures! I love 'em!
The girls also enjoyed their little gift bags, we don't get a lot of
girly stuff here.

Thank You

I love the idea of you gorgeous lovely ladies having a challenge coin. It is amazing how much support and love you give to the men and women of the military. Thank you and all the other beauties of Sweethearts for soldiers. I wish I could send you all a coin from my squadron but I don't have 13 of them.

I wish you a safe trip and return. Thank you for volunteering to do this, you and the other woman are all amazing and angels. Be safe and enjoy your trip! Hopefully you will get some good pictures and be able to post a blog about your adventures. Thank you again, I know how they feel being over there. You will be a light in a blanket of darkness. One flash of that gorgeous smile and the troops will be walking around over seas for months with that image in thier heads!

I want to thank you and all of the others that have entertained the troops overseas. I have spent time overseas myself. I was in Qatar when the Washington Redskin cheerleader came to Qatar back in late 2004. It was a morale boost for all of us when they were there. My hat goes off to all of you that entertain the troop overseas. I was in Iraq from May 2006 until September 2006. We had Tobey Keith there but I didn’t get a chance to go see him. To me work came first while I was there. God bless all of you.

Quoting Keith Sublett:

I'm a soldier, and currently serving in Iraq (I'll be home by Valentine's
Day - hopefully). I have to say that even though last year's calendar
was sexy, I really like the 'WW II Pin-up Girl' theme for this year's
calendar.

Thanks for your support and know that we appreciate it.
Happy New Years!!
