Jessie Sziebl Christensen, Director of Media Relations - West Coast
Jessie Christensen is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology. While at UCLA, she was on their nationally ranked dance team.
Jessie was a member of the United Spirit Association in the cheerleading and jazz dance programs for 10 years. She traveled nationally and internationally teaching camps, was a head instructor, and a member of the program development team. Currently she continues to judge numerous regional and national cheerleading and dance competitions.
As an Associate Producer for e2k Sports, Jessie has directed and choreographed half-time shows for the NFL, including international NFL American Bowl games in Canada, Mexico City and Japan, the Pro Bowl in Hawaii and Thanksgiving Day games in Detroit. She has had the pleasure of working with such artists and celebrities as the Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Five for Fighting, Lance Armstrong and Mariah Carey!
Jessie was an Associate Director to the San Diego Charger Girls and for five years, co-directed the NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders in Hawaii.
She recently completed 10 seasons as the Director of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team. In addition, she created and directed two other teams for the Clippers, the Fan Patrol, a crowd interactive stunt team, as well as the Jr. Jam Squad, a hip hop troop ages 6 – 13. With the NBA, she had the opportunity to travel and promote NBA initiatives to Mexico, Japan and China. Most importantly, she had the opportunity to travel to an army base in Darmstadt, Germany to create and perform in a variety show with members of the Clippers Spirit, welcoming home troops from Iraq.
Some of her television choreography and appearance credits include being a segment host on NBC’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search, NFL Monday Night Football opening with Hank Williams, Jr. on ABC, HBO’s Arli$$, Inside Schwartz, FOX’s Live Like a Star, TLC’s That Yin Yang Thing, and Oxygen Network’s Campus Ladies.
